Project: A49 Junction Improvements

Reconfiguration of one of the busiest road junctions supplying the centre of Warrington. The works included the realignment of the junction with the formation of new traffic islands, road surfacing, anti-skid surfacing, line marking, traffic lighting with associated cabling, kerbing, footways & railings. A large amount of traffic management was implemented.

Project: The Queens Gardens Palmyra Square

The formation of a new path layout within The Queens Gardens using quality paving materials such as York Stone & Granite. A new performance and piazza area was created partly within the gardens and partly onto the existing highway adjacent to the Parr Hall.

The scheme involved a variety of traffic calming techniques in the surrounding area, the construction of a new play area, redevelopment of school parking and various hard & soft landscaping.

Project: Woodlands Environmentla Regeneration #2

Environmental regeneration to 86 properties based between two squares. The works included the renewal of all the existing drains, water services and mains, new street lighting, hard and soft landscaping to form new roads, paths, parks and gardens to all properties, including fencing and boundary walls.

Project: Yorkshire Street Repaving Scheme

Repaving of the main shopping high street in Rochdale town center. The work involved removing the existing tarmac road surface and laying natural stone flags, granite setts and conservation kerbs. Replacement of street furniture, drainage and installation of LED lighting.
