Profile

Ian has over 35 years in engineering and construction management experience. Commencing as a trainee engineer for Fairclough Building, Ian progressed into senior engineer then site management before becoming contracts manager. Ian has spent the last 20 years working in pre-construction and development growth in the industry.

Ian has a wealth of experience in partnerships working on M4i initiative in the 90’s ultimately promoting partnering and frameworks alliances in the industry over the past 20 years. Ian progressed into senior construction management working on complex main contracts and civil projects for Jarvis, and Bam.

Most recently Ian has been involved with BREEAM and Considerate Contractor projects.

Ian is involved with developing a new digital communication application tool for Lowbury called “ Lowapp” and has been working with a projects industry software package to evaluate carbon emissions in the construction process called “Construct CO2”.

 

Experience

With his construction management experience Ian is working closely with the senior management at Lowbury in business development growth and working closely with all key accounts and supply chain members. Ian has working knowledge of Framework Agreements with Lancashire CC and Cumbria CC and is the manager for all our key framework accounts such as National Grid, Siemens and Northern Power.
